Manchester Boiler Servicing FAQ
Should Your New Gas Boiler Want Servicing?
If you’ve recently had your gas boiler installed, you’ll get a manufacturer’s warranty included, unfortunately, what a lot of home owners and landlords don’t realise is that in order to keep your warranty valid, the gas boiler needs to get serviced yearly.
And so irrespective of whether you feel that your gas boiler is running as you’d assume, we strongly suggest that you look at having your gas boiler looked at and serviced.
What Should A Boiler Annual Service Include?
After you set up an appointment for your gas boiler to be serviced, one of our fully Gas Safe registered heating engineers will arrive on the date that you chose, on time and equipped to work from the minute that they get there.
They’ll just need you to show them where your gas boiler is located and they’ll get going conducting tests and assessing your gas boiler to make certain that it is running efficiently and safely.
During the assessment, you’ll see the heating engineers do the following:
- Fire your boiler to ensure that there are no faults in your central heating system
- Remove the boilers casing to inspect the components within, cleaning them if called for
- Conduct a flue pipe evaluation to be sure that the boilers emissions are harmless
- Conduct a gas pressure evaluation and a gas tightness analysis to be sure that you do not have any leaks
Once the heating engineer has finished the servicing of your boiler, they’ll then make certain that they leave your home just as they found it, as though they were not in fact, there, however you will have a safe, efficient gas boiler once again.
