Manchester Boiler Servicing FAQ
Does Your New Gas Boiler Require Servicing?
If you’ve recently had your gas boiler installed, you’ll get a manufacturer’s warranty included, unfortunately, what a large number of people don’t realise is that in order to keep your warranty valid, your gas boiler is required to get serviced annually.
So regardless of whether you believe that your gas boiler is running as you’d assume, we strongly suggest that you look at having your gas boiler looked at and serviced.
What Does Boiler Annual Service Include?
After you schedule an appointment for your gas boiler being serviced, one of our Gas Safe registered heating engineers will arrive on the date that you chose, on time and ready to work from the time that they get there.
They’ll simply need you to show them where your gas boiler is located and they will start conducting tests and assessing your gas boiler to establish that it is running efficiently and safely.
During the assessment, you’ll see the heating engineers carry out the following:
- Fire your boiler to ascertain that no faults are in your system
- Remove the boiler casing to look at the components inside, cleaning them if called for
- Conduct a flue evaluation to be sure that your boilers exhausts are harmless
- Conduct a gas pressure evaluation and a gas tightness analysis to be sure that there are no leaks
Once the heating engineer has completed the servicing of your boiler, they will then make sure that they leave your property just as they found it, as though they were not even there, however you will have a safe, efficient gas boiler once again.
